Saved By Neighbor Foundation Ghana LBG (SBN Fdn Gh LBG) is a non-profit organization in the northern part of Ghana, specifically in Damoligu, Nabdam District of Upper East Region. It is aimed at alleviating the unattended conditions of children and widows in serious special need that leaves them with the tag; “Less Privileged”. Their needs require socio-economic interventions as support to fight in preventing the high level of illiteracy, hunger & diseases, teenage pregnancies & parenting, and other social vices that sits on their ability to be responsible citizens in household and nation-building.
Saved by Neighbor Foundation Ghana serves the widows, those that can not go to formal school and the orphans as well as brilliant but needy children in formal elementary schools of Ghana, Nabdam district. This foundation has been years in the making. Each decision has helped the founder, Michael Koalbil Naab, get one step closer to reaching these people with hope, the truth, and love that few have ever known. When people hear the Truth they begin to see that there is Hope and Love. When they know real love is theirs and they can then see themselves as valuable. We see the value in this, Do YOU?
This is a program that takes the people that feel they have lost their value and gives them tools, not just physical tools, but emotional and spiritual tools to regain their value. The program is structured by teaching the students a trade of their choice. These 14 courses vary from bead making, basket weaving to farming and everything in between.
The advanced knowledge of continuing to educate themselves is available. After the class is finished they are self-sustaining individuals that have taken their value back, they stand taller and have peace in their mind. SBN Foundation Ghana, therefore, seeks to continue reaching out to these vulnerable ones and further providing them with love, mentorship, and dream actualization-centered initiatives for the individual child and widow through domestic and international contribution.
