PROGRESS REPORT OF PAULINA YEN

When Paulina first received her wheelchair and sewing machine on 17th October 2021, she was nervous and so very happy. She began her dressmaking classes immediately after she received them. We noticed her enthusiasm and readiness to learn although she was feeling shy and timid. She had some struggles with participation at the beginning because she spent most of her life alone at home. But after a few weeks went by, we kept motivating her and telling her she is valuable.

She is able to participate in all activities; attending meetings and workshops organized by Ghana Tailors and Dressmakers Association. Paulina’s attention span has grown and she has become a role model for the other children who sees her daily engagement in her training.  Her mom is so thankful and very pleased to see such wonderful progress and growth in her daughter’s attitude and learning abilities.

Concerning her future goals, Paulina can go for advancement.
She has always been grateful for her training and the assistance from her colleagues and their mistress.  PaulinaYen is a shy girl, however, she has excelled with her talents and has overcome her shyness at the training center.
Paulina has so far learned and started making kid’s dresses all by herself. She has been thoroughly observed and confirmed to be able to take up the task of a dressmaker so Paulina will have her inauguration soon to pursue her three years course.
Thanks to all those who contributed to her progress. May God richly bless you and your families and keep you safe all the time.
